NOW HIRING

  • Based out of our headquarters in downtown Silver Spring, with work throughout the DC metro area

  • $25/hour, 40 hours/week

  • August 25 – November 31 (potential extension into winter based on project demand)

  • Option to pursue a path to worker-ownership 

Landscape Crew Member (Seasonal, Fall 2024)

  • Perform garden maintenance, including weeding, mulching, pruning, and planting native species

  • Assist with ecological landscape care, such as invasive species removal and habitat restoration

  • Support new landscape installations as needed

  • Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely

  • Drive company trucks to job sites (valid driver’s license required)

  • Work collaboratively with crew members under the guidance of crew lead and other cooperative members

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial landscaping

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles

  • Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions

  • Spanish proficiency preferred

  • Knowledge of native plants a plus
